Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (Sabah) Malaysia Tour Packages The park contains a zoo and botanical garden and covers an area of 280 acres. There are over 100 species of mammals and birds in the park. Many of them are native to the island of Borneo. The highlight of the park, for many at least, would be the orang utan and proboscis monkey. Other animals on display are the Malayan Tiger, Malayan Sun Bear (Beruang Madu), Sumatran Rhinoceros, Wild Cattle (Tembadau), Borneo Elephant (Gajah Borneo), Sambar Deer (Rusa), Gibbons, Barking Deer (Kijang), Hornbills (Enggang), Clouded Leopard and many more. Right at the end of the park is a Botanical Garden, where they have many plants and herbs planted for display. It also has a rather challenging trail, for the fitter ones. The walking path within the park is mostly tarred, and is relatively flat. Suitable for family outing and strollers for those who have young children.
